Superelvis was formed in Barcelona in 1986 by Anki Toner, Meteo Giràldez, and Raimon Aymerich. In 1995, Alfredo Costa Monteiro joined the band. The group released 10 albums and some cassettes until their disappearance around the turn of the century. In 2020, the three original members resumed rehearsals almost secretly. Their first published reference is a song on a compilation in 2022. The group made their first (also semi-secretive) public appearances in the fall of 2023 and it is not until 2024 that a Superelvis concert were publicly announced. In this new phase, very few concerts are expected, though each one will be very special. The will also be new recordings, most of which will be freely accessible. Some, however, will have a limited edition in physical format.		Superelvis fue formado en Barcelona en 1986 por Anki Toner, Meteo Giràldez y Raimon Aymerich. En 1995 se incorporó Alfredo Costa Monteiro. El grupo editó 10 discos y algunos cassettes hasta su desaparición alrededor del cambio de siglo. En 2020 los tres miembros fundadores retomaron los ensayos de forma casi secreta. Su primera referencia editada es un tema en un recopilatorio en 2022. En otoño de 2023 el grupo hace sus primeras apariciones públicas (también de forma semisecreta) y no es hasta 2024 cuando Superelvis reaparece abiertamente en concierto. En esta nueva etapa, se esperan muy pocos conciertos, pero cada uno de ellos muy especial, y nuevas grabaciones, la mayor parte de las cuales serán de acceso libre. Algunos de ellos, sin embargo, tendrán una edición limitada en formato físico.
